How do you get ranked for more than one keyword on search engines?

I only rank well for a keyword that I use for my anchor text on links other than my own.

You should optimise pages for no more than 1 - 2 keywords. Optimisation is not just about linking but it is also about page structure and keyword theme.

Inbound links are the biggest factor attributed to rankings. You should attempt to point as many links as possible anchored to a page that is optimised for that anchored keyword.
